Palm Sunday
by Fr. Boniface Endorf, OP
Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,
Just as today Jesus enters Jerusalem and His Passion begins, so we enter Holy Week, leading to Good Friday and Easter. This time is the holiest part of the year. Make certain to spend more time in prayer, joining ourselves to Christ as He wins our salvation. The best way to enter into this grace-filled season is to attend the Holy Week liturgies. Below is a schedule of them and I strongly encourage you to attend as many as possible: take advantage of the unique graces available this week.
Holy Thursday:
9am: Martins and Lauds in the church
8pm: Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by adoration in the chapel of repose
Good Friday:
9am: Matins and Lauds in the church
12pm: Stations of the Cross and confessions in the church
3pm: Celebration of the Lord’s Passion in the church
8pm: Tenebrae in the church
Holy Saturday:
9am: Matins and Lauds in the church
8:30pm: Easter Vigil Mass
Easter Sunday:
9am, 11:30am, 6pm Easter Masses
God Bless,
Fr. Boniface
