Twenty-seventh sunday in ordinary time

Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,

This Monday is the Feast Day of Our Lady of the Rosary. This time is ideal to start praying the rosary if you are not doing so already. The rosary is a wonderful means to uniting ourselves to the life of Christ because the mysteries of the rosary are meditations on key moments in Christ’s salvific work in the Gospels. The key to praying the rosary is thus the meditation on Christ and the vocal prayers are meant to silence our inner chatter and help us to focus more intently on the mysteries of the faith. So if you haven’t said the rosary in a long time now is the moment to start up this great spiritual practice. It can supercharge your spiritual life!
