Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,
We're now a quarter of the way through Advent and I still can't believe we're now in December. That means that the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is this Tuesday, December 8th. Normally the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is a holy day of obligation, but due to the pandemic it is not this year. However, we'll keep our usual holy day of obligation schedule for those who want to celebrate Mass for the Immaculate Conception.
Immaculate Conception Masses:
Also, we're looking toward Christmas this year. We won't have the normal children's pageant because of the pandemic, and we will only have cantors rather than whole choirs. However, we will have our normal Christmas Mass Schedule:
Christmas Eve (December 24th):
Christmas Day (December 25th):
Please note that there is no evening Mass on Christmas Day.
We'll have confessions before each Mass.
Have a Blessed Advent,
Fr. Boniface
