We all know how unpredictable the weather has been. First it was hot, then extremely cold, then warm again. But it is still winter, and I expect it will be cold again. The annual New York Cares Coat Drive is in need of many, many warm, gently used, freshly laundered coat(s) for men, women and children.
The Social Justice Committee had planned on collecting the coats here at St. Joseph’s, but it seems the folks at New York Cares don’t have the teams of personnel needed to pick-up the coats. However, the next best thing is that you, we — each of us — can drop off coats at any police precinct through Feb. 7th.
