Kylemore Abbey Benefit Concert

Please join us for an evening of Irish music . The Kylemore Abbey Campaign in the U.S.(the New York City Campaign Committee) is hosting a very special Irish Concert to benefit the Benedictine Nuns at Kylemore Abbey, County Galway. There is a cavalcade of musical stars performing, including:

• Singer/Songwriter Eabha McMahon, who has been touring with Anúna and has toured with Celtic Nights
• Singer/Songwriter Aileen Morgan
• Classical Violinist Gregory Harrington
• Soprano/Harpist Marsha Long
• Our own St. Joseph’s Church Choir
• Special Guest: Fr. Ray Kelly "The Singing Priest" (Also known as the "Halleluiah Priest" from County Meath, Ireland)

Ticket prices for the event are: $100 for front rows, $50 for back rows and balcony. Purchase tickets online.

Note: VIP Reception with the performers to follow the concert for $100 tickets holders.

At Kylemore, there was never a true monastery and the nuns now live in two separate areas; a few in the old convent in the castle and the others in the "farm house" located far from Kylemore activity. Currently there is a plan underway to construct a monastery for the nuns to lead a true monastic life. All donations raised are for this project.
